MILACA WOLVES

Co-Head Coaches: Mitch Vedders/Clay Hoeck

Section: 7AA

The Wolves will be under new leadership this season with new Co-Head Coaches. They did graduate five section place including four state qualifiers; so it will be tough to make a big improvement on those 30-10 dual marks and fifth place state tourney hardware. They will return five section place winners including three state tourney wrestlers and four others with a great deal of varsity experience. Their key leaders should be Joey Curtis and Jonah Gahm thru out the season. Look for the Wolves to challenge for both conference and section honors again this season. They could possibly challenge those dual meet marks.

The Thunder Hawks posted excellent dual marks last season at 16-4 and they were a final four team in this very balanced section 7AA dual meet campaign. Back from that team are seven section place winners including one state place winner. They did graduate six section place winners including two state place winners it may be hard for them to make any improvement on those dual meet marks. But look for the Thunder Hawks to improve thru out the season and once again challenge for Conference and section honors. Jamison Evans, Jsef Palik, David Brenden, Jackson Schauer and Alex Seagner should be their key leaders thru out the season.

They will return seven section place winners; including one state qualifier along with two others with a great deal of varsity experience. Cody LaFromboise and Ken Kastenbauer should be two of their key leaders thru out the season. Look for the Mustangs to challenge both conference and section honors.

The Wildcats had a very good season last year as they posted 18-10 dual meet marks and they won the North Suburban Conference. Back from that team are six section place winners; including five state qualifiers and ten others with a great deal of experience. Despite the graduation of five seniors including three section place winners; two were state qualifiers. Look for the Wildcats to challenge those dual meet numbers. This young team should also make a strong challenge to defend their conference honors. With continued improvement thru out the season this crew should push for a final four spot in this very balance section dual meet campaign. Quade Zupko, Dylan Connell, Jonah Westbury, Kyle Schoenecker, Joe Virga and Mark Sontag to be their key leaders thru out the season.

Back from last year's team are nine section place winners; including one state qualifier and four with a great deal of experience. They did graduate five wrestlers last spring including one place winner. This young team should make steady progress thru out the season. Look for the Vikings to improve on those dual meet numbers. They should also move up in the North Suburban Conference standings. Reid Johnson, Seamus Hunter, Jake Pitz and Aaron Senne should be their key leaders thru out the season.

Look for this team to improve on their dual meet marks and possibly challenge for one of those top four spots in this very balanced dual meet campaign. Aaron Trunt, Nick Bruss, Mitch Bonderson, Orrin Holmbeck and Jake Lelonke should be their key leaders thru out the season.
