NEW LONDON-SPICER WILDCATS

The Wildcats posted some excellent dual meet numbers of 17-6. Back from that section runner up team are five section place winners including two state qualifiers and seven others with a great deal of varsity experience. They did graduate six section place winners last spring including four state place winners. They should challenge those dual meet numbers of last season. The Wildcats for be looking for conference honors; as it will be their first year in the Wright County Conference. They should challenge for a top four spot in the section dual meet campaign. Jakob Stageberg, Treyton Austvold, Grant Vagle and Odin Rogers should be their key leaders thru out the season.

The Tigers of Hutchinson posted great dual meet marks of 26-5; Wright County Conference Championship and Final Four in this tough Section 2AA. Back from that team are seven section place winners; including three state qualifiers and ten others with varsity experience. Despite the fact that they graduated eight seniors; including four section place winners. Look for this young team to continue to improve over the course of the season. They may not challenge those dual meet numbers. But they should make a strong challenge to defend their conference championship and push for one of those top four spots in this tough section dual meet campaign. Eric Madson, Chris Schmidt, Paxton Jordahl, Gannon Jordahl, Riley Drew and Jake Filk should be their key leaders thru out the season.

The White Hawks had a very good season last year; as they posted 19-8 dual meet marks and they were a final four team in this very balance 6AAA section. Back from that team are nine section place winners including five state qualifiers and nine others with varsity experience. They only graduated one section place winner, so look for the White Hawks to make strong challenge to improve those dual meet marks and for them to challenge for conference and section honors. Tyler Hebig, Sam Bennyhoff, Bryan Tierny, Ben Rogers, Will VanSant and Ryder Schmidt should be their key leaders thru out the season.

The Panthers really did have a solid season last year and are looking to improve on last year dual meet marks. They will return six section place winners and five others with a great deal of experience. This includes ten wrestlers with ten or more wins of which four had over thirty wins. They graduated one senior last spring; so look for the Panthers to have one of their very best season in recent years. They will be a force to be dealt with in the very balance conference. The Panthers would also possibly challenge for a top four spot in this very good dual meet campaign. Michael Donnay, Mitchell Hartwig, Dalton Clouse, Jacob Jewitt and Brandon Richter should be their key leaders thru out the season.

This will be a very tough conference dual meet campaign, but they could surprise someone by the end of the season. If they stay healthy and improve over the course of the season they should have a very successful season. Max Kaping, Walker Kaping, Tyler Jones and Devan Nelson should be their key leaders thru out the season.
