Section: 7AAA

The Knights might have their best team ever on paper; that including a couple of pretty awesome teams from the past. They should improve on their dual meet marks of 29-7 of a year ago. With the graduation of just one senior; a state place winner; they should be looking for a huge season. Tommy Thorn, Cole Sladek, Mark Voss, Lincoln Mallinger, Michell Eull and Rick Briggs should be their key leaders thru out the season. With the addition of the three new students students from Kimball they should be a strong favorite to defend their conference and section honors. Look for the Knights to make a very strong challenge for top honors at the National Duals "The Clash" and for a state championship.

The Blue Jackets will be looking forward to yet another very good wrestling season with the return of seven section place winners; including two state place winners and five others with a great deal of varsity experience. They should challenge those very good dual meet marks from last season of 26-6. Despite the graduation of nine very good seniors last spring including one state place winner. They should make a challenge for both conference and section honors. Cody Skog, Travis Holt and Ty Torgerson should be their key leaders thru out the season.

The Rangers posted very good dual meet numbers of 17-7 and they were a final four team in this very tough section 7AAA dual meet campaign. They have back five section place winners including one state place winner and six others with some experience. They graduated nine seniors, six were section place winners and four state qualifiers. They will be hard pressed to challenge those dual meet numbers from last season. However look for the Rangers to bring along some of their younger wrestlers; so they should make a challenge for conference and one of those top four spots in this section dual meet campaign. James Pleski, Austin Boniface and Andrew Meyers should be their key leaders thru out the season.

The Cardinals had a very good season as they posted 27-8 dual meet marks and a conference championship, along with a final four appearance in this tough section dual meet campaign. Back from that team are six section place winners including two state tourney wrestlers and eleven with a great deal of varsity experience. They did graduate six seniors last spring including four section place winners, one being a state place winner. In addition one of their state place winners to move out of the district. The Cardinals maybe hard pressed to challenge those dual meet numbers from last season. However look for them to again challenge for conference honors and a top four spot in this section dual meet campaign. Michael Burkhardt, Joe Anderson, Tyler Berdahl, Jarod Julkowski and Riley Lawson should be their key leaders thru out the season.

They should challenge those dual meet marks from last season and move up in those conference standings.
